BIDDESTONE & SLAUGHTERFORD PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
All Members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend the Meeting of Biddestone &
Slaughterford Parish Council at 7.00pm on Tuesday, 8th July 2025
at Biddestone Village Hall.
Public Question Time (item 1) provides an opportunity for Members of the public to raise questions
and comments on any of the agenda items. Time for this session is limited to 15 minutes
(3-minute limit per person). Public Bodies (admissions to meetings) Act 1960 s 1 extended by the LG
Act 972 s 100. Please notify the Clerk in advance of the meeting if you wish to raise a question.

Chippenham, SN14 7DG Proposed green oak framed garden room extension to
the northern rear elevation of the house
6.1.2. PL/2025/05090 Works to a Listed Building: Field Farm, The Green,
Biddestone, Chippenham, SN14 7DG Proposed green oak framed garden room
extension to the northern rear elevation of the house
6.1.3. PL/2025/04861 Householder planning permission: 8 Butts Close, Biddestone,
Chippenham, SN14 7DZ Replace existing leaking and worn out felt flat roof
with a modern insulated EDPM membrane and fit a roof lantern. Also add loft
lights to provide means of escape and daylight illumination of a loft area to
allow the creation of a guest bedroom.
6.2. To Receive Notification of Planning Applications Determined:
6.2.1. PL/2025/03484 – Householder Application 4 Little Challows, Biddestone,
Chippenham, SN14 7DU Replacement of existing single storey entrance porch
with slightly larger single storey entrance porch to improve entrance area &
storage. Approve with Conditions
6.2.2. PL/2025/01777 – Works to a Listed Building Mountjoy Farmhouse, The Butts,
Biddestone, Chippenham, SN14 7DY. Replacement single storey extension.
Alterations to existing detached outbuilding and garden boundary walls. Repointing of front elevation of main house. Approve with Conditions.
6.2.3. PL/2025/03795 – Removal or Variation of a Condition. Land adjacent to the
former Biddestone Arms, The Green, Biddestone, Wilts, SN14 7DG. Variation
of condition 2 (approved plans) of planning permission PL/2024/07434 to add an
external door in the southeast elevation, remove proposed chimney stack of the
single storey element with the addition of an external chimney breast & stack on
the northwest elevation, and the adjustment of the position of the first-floor
single casement window. Approve with Conditions
